Ceramic/carbon products and acid-resistant putties
Acid-resistant ceramic tiles and bricks as well as carbon or graphite tiles and bricks in standard and special formats together with putties / mortars for their laying and grouting, specially developed to meet their needs (e.g. Dolite, Oxydur, silicate putties), form the ceramic/carbon lining programme of STEULER-KCH.
Our ceramic linings show negligible porosity and high resistance to chemicals. Due to their high mechanical durability and abrasion resistance, they are ideally suited for floors or other surfaces exposed to heavy abrasive loads and provide excellent protection for sealing layers. STEULER-KCH also guarantees solid craftsmanship of connections to stainless steel structural elements, gutters, drains, walls, etc.
STEULER-KCH ceramic tile linings are resistant to high mechanical, abrasive loads, i.e. to the typical stresses, including extreme ones, occurring during production or in the working environment . Our tiles/bricks also have excellent anti-slip properties, which is an essential requirement for chemical-resistant floors that increase occupational safety.
Tiles for the pharmaceutical and food processing industry
In companies that produce pharmaceutical or food products, the flooring is always a functional component of complex technical systems. The legal requirements for hygiene and occupational safety must be observed here, just like special pharmaceutical regulations and technological requirements. In the case of heavy loads, ceramic tiles, rectangular or hexagonal, are undoubtedly the best choice. In addition to the resistance of the ceramic products themselves, it is important that the bonding and grouting mortars provide equally high resistance. It is important that the structural foundation is protected by a suitable sealing layer (membrane) beneath the ceramic layer. Only such a joint can permanently ensure that media do not enter the foundation and damage the building structure. A properly selected and completed chemical-resistant lining ensures long-term protection of 100% of the bearing surfaces, which translates into trouble-free operation of the equipment and achievement of the desired production capacity.
