Bekaplast

Combining safety and resistance

A special feature of the BEKAPLAST™ system are special anchors shaped like expanding cones which are placed on the back of the system’s panels. They form a mechanical connection between the plastic coating and the concrete and in addition, compensate for the differences in thermal expansion of the two materials.

BEKAPLAST™ can be repaired repeatedly and has high impact strength and resistance to corrosion, including that of biological origin. It is equally effective at both high and low temperatures and insensitive to changes in their range.

BEKAPLAST™ has been successfully used in the chemical, municipal and other industrial sectors for over 40 years. The possibilities of BEKAPLAST™ are as varied as the requirements for most advanced coatings.

We have a variety of material types available, tailored to the individual needs of our customers.

BEKAPLAST™ HDPE: Polyethylene material resistant to acids and alkalis in a wide range of concentrations. It is also available in an electrically conductive version. It has no negative effects on living organisms.

BEKAPLAST™ PP: High-temperature stabilised polypropylene which stay in accordance to DIN 16971. It is resistant to aqueous salt solutions, alkalis and acids. It can be used at constant temperature of up to 90 °C.

BEKAPLAST™ PVDF: Polyvinylidene fluoride with high chemical and permeation resistance. It is particularly suitable for surface protection against chlorinated hydrocarbons.

BEKAPLAST™ PVC: High-impact material. Exhibits superior chemical resistance and high rigidity.

Having highly experienced design and construction staff on board, STEULER-KCH is able to accept and fulfil any order, involving all the phases required, such as the development of  concept and design, the selection of materials and performance, and finally, product configuration, assembly, commissioning and final acceptance.
